Good Morning Families,

What a pleasant sight to see the sun shining this morning! It’s been long over due.

We hoped you had a week filled with hugs and kisses from your little one. We celebrated Valentine’s Day with a SWEET party.
First, we exchanged cards and candy with our classmates. Kudos to you, mom and dad, for reminding your child to bring his cards to school! Each child played mail carrier by dropping his cards into the decorated bags. Next, we ate our craft project by decorating sugar cookies. We also had cheese and crackers to make it healthy. Then we played two very fun games……”Pin the Lips on the Girl” and “Punch a Cup.” I want to extend a BIG round of applause to Liz McCormick and her mom, Mrs. Lapoint, Jenny Park, Sonal Kashyap and Susan Leveille for their time and effort in throwing this exciting party! Thank you from the bottom of our CORAZON!!

In our Investigator Club, we focused on the letters G and H. In Spanish, we learned to say “corazon”(heart). We laced the outline of a heart in Art. We are learning how to do relay races ( a difficult concept) in P.E. and in Music we are singing some old favorites.

I am looking forward to meeting with you this Tuesday or Wednesday for conferences. Remember, there is no school tomorrow, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Have a pleasant weekend.
Wanda and Leslie
