April 4, 2018 Newsletter

Good afternoon Families,

We hope you are enjoying Spring break!

We feel so much gratitude for showering us with gifts last week. Our families are the most generous on campus. Please accept our heartfelt appreciation.

It was an Egg-Cellent week if you don’t mind the pun!! The children had a blast finding eggs—thanks to your donations, they got to take home 15 eggs each!! Thank you to Tracy Cembor and Dr. Kataria for the party donations and a BIG shout out to Susan Leveille who helped us at the party.

We learned about animals that hatch from eggs (Oviparous is the scientific term) and made cute crafts like the bluebird hatching out and the sequence of the hatching chick. Ask your child to tell you some animals that come from eggs.

It was alphabet review week. We played games like tossing a bean bag onto a letter and identifying it. Also we played “Cake Walk” where the children walked around big foam letters while the music played. When the music stopped, each child had to find a letter to stand on and identify it.

Next week, we will cover letters “Q and R” and do Spring activities.

School pictures will be taken on Thursday April 12! Our photographer is great at capturing your child’s irresistible smile!

Have a Splendid Spring Break,

Wanda and Leslie
