Testing Week

Hello, Parents!
As you are quite aware, this coming week is Standardized Testing Week. Our goal is a low stress, personal-best performance for each student so there will be no homework in math, science or history for the next 5 days. I know all the kiddos are very happy with the no homework week! 😉👍 Here’s to a healthy, good night’s sleep, positive attitude week!
To help the week go smoothly, please have your student at school by 8:15 this week. When they enter fifth-grade next year, they will have to be at school by 7:45 for a class start time of 8:00. You could think of the rest of this school year as a practice for that change. Please remind you student that other classes in Turner Hall may begin testing as early as 8:30 or 8:45 so they need to enter campus in a quiet respectful manner. In addition, I spoke with the class last week about how important it is to cooperate with parents in the evening for bed time, to eat a good breakfast, and to listen to their parents’ direction in the morning as they prepare for school. Simple things like these suggestions can make a day go beautifully!

Thank you and have a good afternoon-despite the rain!
My best,
