Good Morning Families,

We have been preparing all week long so we can celebrate our precious moms! In case you haven’t open your present and card, I won’t tell you what it is but, I think you will LOVE it and it will be something to cherish for years to come!!

We discussed how moms take care of their children even in the animal world and that mom’s job is 24/7! I read many books about mom’s love. Some of my favorites to check out……….”The Runaway Bunny”, “I Love You Stinky Face” and “Are You My Mother?”.

Thursday was a special day because we listened to the Chrome concert on the Quad! What a talented bunch of children…….Some sang and danced and others played instruments. In a few years, your child too can become a star at Wood Acres!

Our “End-of-the-Year Party is Tuesday, May 22! What an exciting line-up the moms have planned………A Carnival with games, bouncy house, prizes, popcorn, cotton candy and a picnic (hot dog or veggie dog) lunch! Please consider helping for at least an hour or two to man the games for the children. Set up starts about 9:30. If you can volunteer, please email me or Liz McCormick to let us know. Can’t Wait!!

Next week’s lessons cover the life cycle of the frog and the letter Z. Yay!!!!! We finished the alphabet!!

Happy Birthday to Raj Kataria and Anika Sing who celebrated turning 4 recently!!

Happy Mother’s Day tomorrow!! I hope you are showered with hugs and kisses!!!

Wanda and Leslie
