Happy Labor Day Weekend

The second week of school is in the books! Congratulations! Thank you all for coming to parent night last night. I hope it was informative and answered any questions you might have had about this upcoming school year. For those who missed it, I have put a copy of what we discussed in your child’s folder. Please look over it and email me with any questions you may have!
This week, we spent a lot of our time focusing on shapes and gluing. We have made, pencils turtles to go along with our class mascot, Tommy, and we made a train out of shapes! It has been a busy week! Next week, we look forward to starting our pre-reading program, Happily Ever After and also introducing our math program, Big Math for Little Kids. We will be starting our letter bag and Tommy the Turtle next week, so look out for the bags!
Remember to complete and bring in the All about Me pages before September 7th so we can get the book together and send it home!
Finally, there is NO SCHOOL on Monday, September 3 for Labor Day. Have a great weekend and see you Tuesday!
