Sept. 23, 2018 Newsletter

Good Morning Families,

It was so nice to see some of our families at the assembly on Constitution Day! Thank you for taking the time to help us celebrate this day. I am posting pictures of the event. The children wore star studded crowns and we were all dressed in our special t-shirts. It is never too early to teach about “love of country.”

Shapes, shapes and more shapes were the theme of the week. Rectangle, oval and diamond took center stage. The class practiced their scissors skill by cutting out rectangles for their flag. They did so well! They made Humpty Dumpty on the wall to reinforce ovals and stamped stars and a diamond in a nightly sky to the tune of, “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star.”

I am looking forward to parent-teacher conferences tomorrow and Tuesday. It’s an opportunity to learns how your child is progressing and also to learn of our goals for the year.

Next week we will cover Shape Review since some families will be out-of-town.

See you soon.

Wanda and Cindy
