Last week of school for 2018!

Hello and Happy Holidays to one and all.

As the hustle and bustle is in full swing and our to-do list is starting to dwindle, I just want to send you our list of what’s happening this week, so we can continue checking off each part of this list.

Last week was quite productive as you look through your student’s homework or Friday folder. I think you will be quite pleased with the grades you see. Here’s the list of what’s happening this week in fourth grade:

•Monday, December 17 – 2nd book report presentations
•Tuesday, December 18 – Cumulative Review Test AND
•grammar quiz over Lessons 17-23 (constant review is being done in class)
•Wednesday, December 19 – Grammar Unit 4 Verb test
•Thursday, December 20 Winter Wish gift exchange with 5th graders
•Thursday, December 20 11:00-1:00 Our Winter Holiday Celebration
•Thursday, December 20 1:00 Dismissal with no Tree House.

Your student can begin bringing in their gift for the Winter Wish gift exchange on Thursday, December 20. Please remind your student to include the 5th grader’s name on the gift tag along with a clue that helps them figure out who the 4th grade gift giver is. Thanks for your help because this is a fun day for all.

Hats off to those students who did a marvelous job during the Chrome Concert. It takes a lot of courage to get up in front of a crowd and perform along while controlling the butterflies that show up during the performance. Great job and looking forward to the next show.

Take care, enjoy the rest of this weekend, and I’ll see everybody in the morning.

Yours truly,
Cheryl Leagan
