Winter is here!

Happy Friday Wood Acres Families!
Our Two Year Olds have made it through our first full week learning about winter! The cold weather has REALLY allocated for us to expand on our theme in tangible ways! We spent our week sorting clothes from our dramatic play area. We sorted them by choosing which season we would wear the clothes we picked from the basket summer, or winter. We also learned about ice and homes made of ice called Igloos. We also experimented building Igloos. However, we enjoyed eating the ice best! We later set one bucket outside and kept one inside to make predictions on which bucket of ice would melt first. We also worked on shapes, letters, and numbers this week. January is off to a great start for our Two Year Old Program! Stay warm and happy Friday folks!
