The miracle of learning is right here at the Woods Acres School!

Wood Acres families,

Early spring ahead as Punxsutawney Phil does not see his shadow. Punxsutawney Phil did not see his shadow for the first time since 2016 on Saturday morning, heralding an early spring! Last week as we learned about Groundhogs Day, the children were excited to see their own shadows as we explored The Woods.
This week, we will be reviewing letters A through G. We will continue to work on these letter as we play the Alphabet Mystery game and Alphabet Bingo. The children are coming along very well with letter recognition and exploring letters through words. Letters bags are a hit and your little ones enjoy showing and sharing their bags. What a great way to introduce letter recognition! Keep it up!
This weeks theme is Arctic animals. As we introduce arctic animals, we will focus on animals that live in the water and their ways of living. For science, we will melt a block of ice by using salt.
