A glance at our week!

Happy Hump Day Wood Acres Families,
I hope these kiddo’s happy faces bring you sunshine on this cloudy day. Our Two’s program has been very busy learning about Community Helpers and February holidays. We have talked about firefighters, bus drivers, and teachers! We are learned new finger played called “Hurry Drive the Fire Truck”, and painted our very own fire trucks using the wheels of a fire truck to paint with! Our shape this month (drum roll please) is the HEART! We have been listening to Valentine’s Day stories, grooving and moving to Valentine’s Day Tunes, and have been crafting our loving hearts away. We are learning to work together with our loving hearts through a variety of small group activities. Also, we cannot forget President’s Day. Our daily leaders and students have been reciting their best Pledge of Allegiance EVER! We are very proud of our Wood Acres Citizens, and you should be proud of them as well. The children are growing and learning every day. We cannot believe how fast the school year is flying by. Please stop by the office to learn more about The Wood Acres School Summer Program and be sure to follow us on Facebook and Twitter. Enjoy the pictures!
Educationally Yours,
Ms. Nixon and Mrs. Biter
