Testing Week

Hello Everybody,
Before our weekend becomes full of things to do, I just wanted to let you know that we had a great week of reviewing, refreshing, and revving up for next week. We did take a practice test on Thursday, and I think our students felt pretty confident with the sample questions and their answers. I have reminded our students that their job is to play, eat, and sleep well because these are the main ingredients to a successful testing week.
I do not normally give homework for the weekend but time slipped away from us this week, so your student may have a few stories to complete in the packet that we worked on this past week and some more pages in our Word Skills book as well. These skills will most likely show up during the testing, and I am trying to prepare our students the best I can. You are welcome to review with your student, so everybody is ready to go Monday morning.
We know that a nutritious snack is always good for the body and mind, so thank you to those who signed up to provide snacks and water for the testing week. Trust me, it is very much appreciated. If you did not get to sign up, no worries because we will probably have a sweet celebration Friday afternoon when our testing week is over. More details will be provided later this week.

That’s all for now. Please enjoy your weekend and looking forward to a great week ahead.
Yours truly,
Cheryl Leagan
4th grade lead teacher
