SPRING HAIKUS:
Last week, we wrote Haikus, a Japanese art of poetry. Haiku poems consist of 3 lines. The first and last lines of a Haiku have 5 syllables and the middle line has 7 syllables. Because we are kindergarteners, we kept the idea of 17 syllables all together but adjusted the numbers of syllables per line a little. The lines rarely rhyme in haikus.
If you have time stop by to see it.
Enjoy the attached Gazette.
