Meeting Cass has been so much fun! The children all seem to enjoy getting to know her. They are all working hard on handwriting and are enjoying practicing on ice cream paper. Colored lines help children learn top, middle and bottom, and remind them where to place the pencil when forming letters. On Thursday morning, just like Cass, we decided to do some cooking and made delicious Cool Cups! On Friday, we met Oswald, our new Superkid. The children listened to his song about his love for odd animals whose names begin with the first sound in his name, such as ocelot, otter and more. Coloring and cutting has been keeping us busy as well. We also have been playing rhyming games.
