SCIENCE in The BEAKER JUNIOR LAB

Last week, we started our first science unit: Beginning Explorations. This unit introduces how science is a term used to describe what and how people investigate the world around them. The vocabulary to be used in the coming weeks includes observe and investigate. Children will be identifying how the different properties of science tools have different functions (i.e. Forceps allow us to pick up small things; a hand lens makes small things appear larger…) This morning, we had a science tool scavenger hunt in the lab with Ms. Porto’s class. We learned words like beaker, falcon tube, hand lens, forceps…
As you can see on the picture, we loved meeting “Mr. Bones.”
