Happy Fall Ya’ll

Wood Acres Families

Apples, pumpkins and pie, OH MY! Fall has arrived! Well, at least in theory. While the temperature outside isn’t indicative of the cooler weather we are all are yearning for, our classroom is already beginning to look like fall.

With this week being a short week and some of you are out of town, we will review shapes. Playing games are by far some of your child’s favorite things to do. We will play shape bingo, hide-n-seek shapes throughout our classroom and play the bean bag shape toss.

Investigators Club, we will cover the following;

Oral Language: Shape flap board
Objective is to identify basic shapes

Sharing Chair:
Objective is to use new vocabulary and grammar in speech

Friendly reminders:

We would like to welcome with open arms
Mrs. Ramammthy Arnav’s mother who will be our mystery reader on Friday. We look forward to hearing some of Arnav’s favorite books. Mystery reader begins at 9. Please wait outside until Mrs. Thomas or I come out to get you. Also, please provide 3 short stories of Arnav’s favorite books to read to the class. Remember it’s a secret!

Fun Friday is, silly sock day. Wear your favorite silly socks to school.

Picture day is October 3rd. If you would like to place an order for pictures please fill out your photo slip along with payment. Dress to impress and come to school with your best smiles.

Have a fantastic week.
