7th Grade Math – Unit 2 Multi-Step Equations and Inequalities

Seventh Grade has begun Unit 2. We are solving lots of equations! In this Unit we will:
Solve Multi-Step Equations
Solve Equations with Variables on Both Sides
Solve Infinite & No Solution Equations
Solve Algebraic Proportions
Solve Absolute Value Equations
Solve Multi-Variable (Literal) Equations
Solve Word Problems
Solve Multi-Step Inequalities
Solve Compound Inequalities
Solve Absolute Value Inequalities
We will also crossover to the students Science curriculum and learn about Balancing Chemical Equations.
Along the way we will do some fun activities – Math Libs make equations more fun and chemical cookie equations will make balancing chemical equations yummy!
