What a fantastic Halloween party!! Many, many thanks to our room mom, Jenny Park, and the party moms and dads who put together exciting activities and ghoulish snacks for our youngsters. We had “Toss the Ring on the Witch”s Hat,” “Punch a Prize” and “Pumpkin Bean Bag Toss,” for the games. The decorations were awesome and the snacks were cute and yummy!
As you can see by the photos below, everyone had a great time!

We made ghost windsocks this past week and flew them outside. The streamers got a little wet, but that just added to the spookiness.

We also had fun with Halloween pattern cards. The children had to make a pattern with colorful Halloween toys and decide which character or color they needed next to complete the pattern. What an awesome activity to promote pattern making!! There will be a Christmas pattern game we will do next month.

Thank you to our Mystery Reader, Katie Buch, Asha mom, for reading to us yesterday.

Next week’s agenda will be learning number 6 and Nocturnal Animals….one of my favorite lessons!! We go to Computer Lab on Wednesday (always the first Wed. of the month). Mrs. Butcher always coincides her lessons with our monthly topics.

Remember to LABEL all outerwear with your CHILD’S NAME and to set your clocks back Sunday morning. (FALL BACK–SPRING FORWARD) Yay!! Our weekend is an hour longer!!

Have a great weekend.

Mrs. Roussarie and Mrs. Alger
