The miracle of learning is right here at the Woods Acres School!

Dear Wonderful Wood Acres families,

We have been working hard on identifying the beginning letters of the alphabet. Mrs. Thomas and I have added many different learning activities that involve our letters of the week. We have been doing some fun large group games that involve dancing and singing. We never want our learning to be boring! It’s a fun challenge to keep up with your preschoolers by finding new and exciting ways to engage their learning. This week, we will focus on the letters C. For creative art the children will create caterpillars and read The Very Hungry Caterpillar. For creative movement, we will have a crab race. (Snap Snap)

This week’s theme is Hibernation. As we introduce hibernation, we will focus on animals that sleep during the winter and awake in the spring. We will go on a bear hunt and hide bears in their caves. We will also make edible bear caves with icing, graham crackers and teddy grahams. What a berry busy week it’s going to be!
