Through learning, service, and shared moments, students are exploring what it means to be part of our nation’s story. This page captures highlights from these celebrations as they unfold across our schools. Be sure to check back regularly for additional highlights! Annual Constituition Day Celebration Every year Wood Acres celebrates Constitution Day to kick off the school year. We are so proud of our students for leading this grand event this year for our 56th school year and we are always excited to share this fabulous day with our entire school community. A special thank you to the NJROTC unit from Kell, Pope, and Lassiter High Schools for posting a new flag for Wood Acres for another new school year! Happy National Anthem Day The Wood Acres school community celebrated National Anthem Day with a beautiful rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner sung by one of our very own preschool teachers! This heartwarming moment is part of our 250th birthday celebration of America, showcasing the civics and leadership initiatives we proudly embrace at our school.
