Marshmallow Fun

We used marshmallows to make unique creations. It was both fun and tricky to construct as you had to plan ahead in order to make sure the creation was able to withstand the gravity of the mushy marshmallow. We came up with some pretty great designs and were so proud of what we had made!

Wacky Wednesday

We had so much fun celebrating Dr. Seuss on Wacky Wednesday. There were many crazy things that happened in our room; pictures were upside down, circle time was in the back of the room. our names were upside down on the backs of our chairs, our cubby names were all mixed up and the calendar was in all different places. WE had so much fun finding everything that was different and wacky! Thanks for participating!

k week

Last week we learned about the letter K. We did so many fun and creative activities to help us identify the sound that K makes and how it also sounds like other letters. We learned to write capital and lowercase K’s, water colored kites, painted koalas and identified words starting with the K sound.

In math, we colored squared, circles and triangles…. helping us to recognize shapes and colors. We also did some fun dice math including addition!!! We loved this activity and hope to do more!

We had technology this week which enriches what we are learning in class.
